See it in motion

Every age leaves a record

A name, a song, a map, a law. Now Oblivion has begun to erase them, one era at a time. Where it passes, ink fades from the page and names fall silent.

One Archive still stands at the edge of the blank. Its Archivist holds one power Oblivion cannot take: Naming.

Speak a name from the records, and its owner answers the call.

Win with the formation

Read the enemy board
Every stage shows where the enemies stand and the order they act in.
Place five figures and set their order
Split your front and back rows on the 3×3 grid, and decide who moves first.
Watch the battle
The fight plays out on its own. Lose, and you rearrange and try again.

Achievements become powers

What each figure achieved in life becomes a skill in battle.

Leonidas
Hold the Pass
Plants himself in the line and holds it.
“I will hold the line for as long as your Archive needs it held.”
Mozart
Eine kleine Nachtmusik
Plays three strikes across an enemy row.
“Silence where music should be? That cannot stand.”
Newton
Falling Apple
Drops an apple on a single enemy.
“Give me the records that remain, and I will help you find their order.”

Yi Sun-sin’s figure screen lists Crane Wing and Turtle Ship Ram among his skills.

Three eras, 90 stages

From the Ancient world through the Three Kingdoms and classical East to the Medieval age, you win back each era stage by stage on its own painted map.
